Physical Education II Course Description
Length/Credits: 1 semester – 1 credit
Open to: Grades 9, 10, 11, 12
Prerequisite: Physical Education I
Physical Education II emphasizes a personal commitment to lifetime activity and fitness for enjoyment, challenge, self-expression and social interaction. This course provides students with opportunities to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of physical fitness and increases their knowledge of fitness concepts. Adapted Physical Education II will be offered, as needed, in the least restricted environment and will be based on individual assessment.
