Length/Credits: 2 semesters – 2 credits
Open to: Grade 12
Prerequisite: AP Calculus (Students are required to purchase a graphing calculator for this course.)
Parametric, polar, vector functions, analysis of curves given in these forms, and derivatives of these functions are investigated.
Numerical solutions of differential equations and their applications in modeling are studied. Various types of series, determination of their convergence or divergence, and investigation of their applications are also significant topics.
Students enrolled in this course will be prepared to take the College Board Advanced Placement Calculus BC Test. All students are expected to take the AP exam.
