Is the Flipped Classroom Part Of The Future?

a woman video conferencing with a man

Traditionally, education has worked with students looking over their materials before they attend class, being lectured to in the classroom with often similar educational content, and then applying that knowledge in their assignments on their own. The flipped class switches this order using online technology, providing the lectures in advance and allowing students to work out assignments during class time with instructor help and feedback.

This more collaborative and independent process can help students more fully understand concepts without feeling left behind if they’re having difficulty understanding the material. Achieve Virtual practices this educational model, and we believe that it improves outcomes and could be the standard model of the future.
