Hour of Code Week
Hello students! Did you know this week is the official Hour of Code week put on by the website code.org? The idea is that teachers allow students to learn to code or write some code for at least one hour this week. It is a celebration happening all over the nation. We’d love to get our students involved!
One of my favorite blogs, iLearn Technology posted a great blog post on the many different places that teachers and students can visit online to learn to code for free. Check out the website below and I challenge you to visit one of the sites and try it out. Coding is simple to start and very addictive! I’m actually currently working on coding my own holiday greeting card on the Khan Academy website, and I have no previous coding experience.
